MATHEMATICS: ACCUMULATIVE EXAM THIS MONDAY

Hello parents and students,

The accumulative exam for fourth period is scheduled for this Monday June 8th. The topics to be evaluated are the following:

Sixth B:

1) Using the number line to perform addition of integers.
2) Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers.
3) Finding the Greatest Common Factor of a set of numbers (You may use the factor tree)
4) Using the Greatest Common Factor to simplify fractions
5) Finding the Least Common Multiple of a set of numbers (You may use the factor tree)
6) Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers
8) Comparing two quantities by setting a ratio.
9) Applying the cross-product rule to determine proportions
10) Applying the cross-product rule to solve proportions
11) Using operations among integers and fractions to solve word problems
12) Using proportions to solve word problems.

Sixth A:

1) Using the number line to perform addition of integers.
2) Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers.
3) Finding the Greatest Common Factor of a set of numbers (You may use the factor tree)
4) Using the Greatest Common Factor to simplify fractions
5) Finding the Least Common Multiple of a set of numbers (You may use the factor tree)
6) Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers
7) Using operations among integers and fractions to solve word problems

Remember, as always, study from your quizzes, notes and homework to be prepared for this exam.

Don´t forget two important recommendations: always show all your work and always simplify your answers.
